ConFuXia and Confucionism

"Confucius is one of the most important people in terms of East Asian philosophy for having formulated CONFUCIANism, the means to unite people in the time of feuds and wars." Because of this he somehow became famous. At nakarating siya sa mga textbooks namin sa Aralin Panlipunan II (Asian History) at pinag-aaralan namin siya...

CONFUSIONism is different...and it's not just the spelling. Confuxia is a different person from Confucius, and she's not Chinese.

CONFUSIONism is a play on the Chinese philosophy "Confucianism", the result of the thoughts and beliefs of Confucius, a great Chinese Philosopher. The word CONFUSIONism is a make believe compilation of beliefs, of simple philosophies, from the thoughts of Confuxia, a name coming from the word play of Confucius. Actually, may nadiskubre akong isa pang thing about the Confuxian word play. 'Pag sinabi mo yung Confuxia (pronounced "Confusia"), para kang nagsasabing "Confused Siya", which is a great description of Confuxia. Try mong sabihin yung "Confused Siya" nang hindi binibigyang emphasis ang phonetic significance ng -ed. O diba? ^_^.

But anyway, CONFUSIONism IS a combination of beliefs, since philosophy (look it up in Encarta Thesaurus) means thinking, views, and firstly, beliefs. Play nanaman siya on what philosophy is. Medyo uber mapaglaro na tayo, no?

CONFUSIONism. It's a play on CONFUCIANism, yes. But it's still different. It's a compilation of views and thoughts on things, particularly sa isang song na na-hook ako. At kadalasan, mga korean or japanese songs yun. Huwag mag-alala. May translations naman akong ilalagay diyan, no.

Saglit. Bakit nga ba CONFUSION-ism?

simply because: I'm confused.

Haha. Hindi confused na literally nalilito or something. Confused, you can say mentally. Hala. Bago kayo magkaroon ng idea na baliw na ako, magisip-isip nga tayo. Aren't we confused about something, whether nasa labas siya ng utak natin or talgang tago lang sa loob?

Think about it.

Anyway, dahil compilation ng mga pilosopiya ko ito, baka may mga chances na magkaiba ang views natin. Ayos lang. Nagkakaiba-iba ang pilosopiya, at nagkakaroon ng SYNCRETISMO, ang paghahalo ng dalawang paniniwala o pilosopiya. Hala. Araling Panlipunan class na ito.

Confuxia and Teaching

Well, here I am. Gumagawa ng IP, photoshop, at nag-iisip kung paano gumawa ng lesson plan sa speech. Kasalukuyan kong pinipiga ang aking utak para sa mga ilalagay ko sa blog na to. Oh well, simulan na lamang natin sa mga nangyari at nangyayari.

As I'm doing my blog and other stuff at this moment, pinag-iisipan ko yung mga nangyayari kahapon, actually yung mga nangyari the day before that, nung Friday. Okay. Anu-ano na nga ba ang mga nangyaring kaganapan? And what does Confuxia think about them? Here it goes.

Friday. The last day of the peace week and the start of a head-rolling preparation for the coming GRUESOME week of teaching and being taught. Yes. It's the Boys and Girls' week starting this Monday.

During lunch that day, I was called out of the classroom by Kuya Daniel. Not knowing the reason for this, lumabas naman ako. At doon ko nalaman. Hindi lang pala sina SM, Carmela, Lloyd at Zhedrik ang maghihirap sa pagtuturo ngayong darating na linggo. Ako din pala.

Being a student counterpart of a teacher wasn't something I expected. Hell, it was one of the most UNEXPECTED happenings sa buhay paaralan ko, no! Maybe it's because of the fact that I don't teach. Of course, teaching dance steps or advising on how to portray a role is out of the question and is a different thing na. Pero HINDI AKO NAGTUTURO. Not even any lesson. Now, I'm stuck in thinking how to make a DECENT lesson plan sa SPEECH 2. oh man.

Kinausap din kami ng iba't ibang teachers noon ding araw na iyon. Binigay na sa amin ang mga ituturo next week. Buti na nga lang, dalawang araw lang ako magtuturo. At mabait si Ms. Seidel to have given me a text na basehan ng ituturo ko and pointers on how to teach the lesson.

May mga perks ang pagiging student counterparts ng teacher. Example, you can come later or earlier than necessary because you come here based on your counterpart's official time. You can wear civillian clothes, too. But having to pass a lesson plan this Monday is surely NOT DESIRABLE considering na magpapasa pa ako ng IP, at ng PHOTOSHOP ACTIVITY the same day 'di ba?

But anyway, on the other hand, I finally understand what people say about teaching. MAHIRAP SIYA. Hindi lang basta-basta. And Confuxia thinks that if being able to live one week of being a teacher is already a challenge, what more so of challenge ang pagtuturo kung years mo na siyang ginagawa, di ba?

I think I finally get how stressful it is to be a teacher. Kaya, ang dating is, huwag na nating pag tripan ang mga teacher na dedikadong magturo. Mahirap kasi talaga. Super Admiration ngayon ang nararamdaman ko kay Ms. Seidel because of this incident. She manages a lot of things talaga [like handling the WHOLE LANGUAGES DEPARTMENT, English 1, and Speech 2] and still gets to teach well in every subject na handle niya. Hindi birong maging isang guro na katulad ni Ms. Seidel. Hindi Siya Biro.
